DAoC MAPS - Aegir’s Landing

Aegir’s Landing is the entrace town to the new Midgard lands introduced with the Dark Age of Camelot Shrouded Isles (SI) expansion pack of Nov 12th, 2002. The bustling town of Aegirhamn is the capital of Aegir’s Landing and is the center of crafting and questing activities throughout the land. The town of Dyerfjell, located to the north, is also still under player control despite an abundance of Morvalt’s in the area.

Ancient legend exists that a quest, known only to Ota Yrling in Aegirhamn, exists in which the Ancestral Secrets of the zone can be revealed in the form of a Gem. This Gem is hard to find but has a utility rating through the roof and an unreal resist rating. DAoCMaps own GemViper was able to get the following secret from Ota.

Quote: “GemViper – when you you get directions to your rewards during this quest, instead I want you to speak with Jago, Jago has the Gem but he is fussy… there is a good chance you will not receive the real Gem, now make haste and remember. Jago is the true Keeper of the stone”. Now what do you make of that?
