DAoC MAPS - Vanern Swamp

Vanern Swamp is a wet and inhospitable place, unless you happen to be undead, giant or creepy crawly in origin. Crafters of the land covet this zone as the Jotuns to the north have been known to horde magical ingredients needed in making high level weapons and potions.

The Hagbui tribes, long chased out of populated areas, have taken to calling the western edge of Vanern Swamp home as have other outcast creatures. Vanern swamp is designed for high level adventuring and is the location of the final step in gathering class specific epic armor. Stay out until you reach level 47!
